Abdominoplasty
Skin laxity and muscle separation cannot be resolved by diet or exercise. We restore the abdominal wall, reconstruct the navel, sculpt the waist, and place the incision where it will never be seen.
The Problem
What Exercise Cannot Fix
Following pregnancy or significant weight loss, the abdominal muscles separate (diastasis recti) and the skin loses the elasticity to retract. No amount of training can reunite separated muscles or retract redundant skin. These are structural changes that require surgical correction.
Surgical Philosophy
Abdominoplasty at this practice is always planned as a structural repair, not merely a skin excision. The abdominal wall muscles are reunited and repaired. The navel is reconstructed to a natural position. The incision is placed at or below the natural underwear line.
The Technique
Full Abdominoplasty Technique
Surgery is performed under general anaesthesia. The incision is placed low — beneath underwear and swimwear permanently. The abdominal flap is elevated, diastasis recti is repaired with permanent sutures, and excess skin is excised. The navel is carefully repositioned. Waist and flank liposuction is integrated for optimal contour.
Key Benefits
- Diastasis recti (muscle separation) permanently repaired
- Flat, sculpted abdominal profile
- Natural navel reconstruction
- Incision placed below underwear line — designed to disappear
- Waist and flank liposuction integrated for complete contouring
Why Dr. Jamil's Approach Is Different
- Diastasis recti repair is always included — not an optional addition
- Incision planning designed from the outset to be invisible beneath underwear
- Vaser liposuction integration for complete abdominal contouring
